What is the Oasis Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program? GATE is the program where all of our students who are gifted are served. At least one teacher per grade level has their gifted endorsement. This team also consists of many of our high-achieving students. All of the students in GATE receive their core classes (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies), in addition to a STEM exploratory. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The goal of the STEM academy is to bridge the gap between math and science and use elements of these subjects to solve unique problems.

Students in our GATE Program will be challenged to think creatively and in a rigorous manner in all core classes.

Oasis Middle is proud to offer a full roster of student sports teams throughout the school year and is a member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference. The Iguanas participate in the North Division with rival schools from around the county.

state-of-the-art facility

Our school opened in August, 2006, and was built to accomodate 600+ students, grades 6-8. It now houses more than 800 with the new addition.  Security cameras operate 24/7 in our halls and outside the structure. Parents and the general public must check-in at the office where they receive an ID badge before being admitted. All employees and parent volunteers are background checked.
